Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer, an American actress and film director who is also a TV producer. The actress gained attention for her roles in the sci-fi series Timeless and on the drama show Rectify. She is a native of Gulf Breeze, Florida, she made her acting debut through a part in the soap opera "All My Children'. In recognition of her performance, she won the 'Soap Opera Digest Award as the Outstanding Newcomer'. In the following years, she played guest roles in several TV programs. Her popularity was rewarded for her character of The Dr. Erin Jameson in the popular television show "Hawthorne". Due to her incredible looks and her acting skills her character slowly grew an audience. When she was about 20 years old, she first made an appearance in film as a character in "Campfire Stones. Her other films include "Jekyll", "This Means War" and "Chasing Mavericks". As part of the movie "Beautiful Now" she was a finalist for the prestigious "Madrid International Film Festival Award". The role she played was Lucy Preston, a history professor in the sci fi show "Timeless". Spencer has been nominated for Teen Choice Awards and has received praise from reviewers.
