Linda Edna Cardellini was born in Redwood City, California, to Lorraine (Hernan) and Wayne David Cardellini who is a businessman. Linda is Italian (from her maternal grandfather), Irish (from her mother), German, English and Scottish heritage. Linda was raised living in her native San Francisco Bay area, California and was the eldest of four children. She began her interest in acting at age ten, when she sang in the school's Christmas show. Also, she performed in school plays as well as performing in community theater. Linda was a student at Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, California. Following her graduation, she was required to make a decision about whether she wanted to go into New York to pursue theater or Los Angeles to pursue film and television. Linda chose LA. Lily James is a stage name given to Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson, an English actress born the 5th of April, 1989. She trained as an actor at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London before launching her acting career with the British TV show Just William (2010). Cinderella was her breakout role after her stint in the role of Lady Rose MacClare, in Downton Abbey's period drama (2012-2015). James was later cast as the Countess Natasha Rostova for the television adaptation War & Peace (2016). James also appeared as Baby Driver (2017) and in the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (18) as well as The Dig (2021), and musicals Mamma Mia! We're Going To Again (2019) as well as Yesterday (2018). Then, in 2022 her role in the role of Pamela Anderson was recognized with the Golden Globe nomination and a Primetime Emmy Award.
