Yvonne De Carlo (September 1 1922 - January 8, 2007) was an afro-Canadian American actress of film and on television. In her six decade career Her film roles were most prominent in her 50s. She played her best famous roles in films including Anna Marie in Salome where She Danced Anna and Criss-Cross Sephora in The Ten Commandments with Charlton Heston. She also played Amantha in the film Band of Angels alongside Clark Gable. De Carlo was offered the part as Lily Munster in the CBS TV series The Munsters, alongside Fred Gwynne and Al Lewis.
